Om Alliance Members have to demonstrate a commitment to integration by participating in weekly meetings to review existing integration and continuously evaluating possible improvements that deliver value to the community we serve.
Integration is not something that is done once or a feature on a checklist, it requires a commitment by all members to think outside of their individual application, about ideas and capabilities that aren't possible in just one application.
Most integrations are best done in phases where an initial integration may involve sharing of data between applications but this is usually just a step to even deeper levels of integration, for example sharing of assets between applications.
Good integration is very important as the normal situation is that things don't work well together and vendors blame each other or the client. This frequently results in frustration and lost time finding and resolving these issues. This can cost thousands of dollars per year for vendors and clients.
When you choose an Om Alliance certified system you can rest assured that it will work in harmony with other Om Alliance certified services.
